About
About iXs
iXs links field robotics with AI, XR and 3D data to build digital representations of infrastructure. Rope Stroller inspects bridge decks and chimneys from suspended wires, MagBug magnetically traverses steel surfaces, Floor Doctor maps floor cracks, and i-Con Walker uses BIM data for autonomous navigation and site capture.
The company was founded in Kawasaki in 1998 and changed its trade name and business direction in 2018. It develops recurring inspection and on-site data services as well as custom systems with major infrastructure companies. Its customers span construction, plants, power, rail, roads and real estate, while its software covers data acquisition, condition analysis, remote operations and BIM/CIM-linked review.
