About Fluid Wire Robotics
Fluid Wire Robotics is an Italian robotics developer building arms for work in environments such as nuclear facilities, underwater infrastructure and space. Its design places the electric motors, sensors and control electronics together in a protected box. Sealed fluidic lines carry motion and force from that box to the arm's joints, keeping sensitive hardware out of the exposed structure.
Customers can configure the arm's reach, lifting capacity and number of joints for a particular task. The company is developing applications in remote handling and inspection, including satellite servicing, where qualification and an in-orbit demonstration remain development milestones.
