About Pipein
Pipein develops robotic inspection systems for buried, pressurised, flooded and otherwise difficult-to-access infrastructure. Its DDS3 offering combines an in-asset robot with inspection payloads, data analysis and a digital platform, allowing operators to assess pipelines and tunnels without taking the entire asset out of service.
The robot family includes Shark 4 for large pressurised pipes and tunnels, Babyshark for smaller diameters, Sharkboat for reservoirs and canals, and Manta for confined underwater environments. Measurements are combined with diameter, pressure, wall-thickness and maintenance records to quantify corrosion, segment the asset and produce risk-based maintenance reports for utilities, energy operators and industrial owners.
