About Kraken Robotics
Kraken Robotics develops subsea sensors, batteries, software and robotic systems for defence, offshore energy and ocean science. Its portfolio covers synthetic-aperture sonar, towed KATFISH vehicles, subsea lidar, pressure-tolerant batteries and data tools used for mine countermeasures, seabed survey and infrastructure inspection.
The July 2026 acquisition of Covelya added Sonardyne navigation and communications, EIVA software, Forcys defence systems, Voyis imaging and Chelsea environmental sensors. The enlarged group now integrates sonar, positioning, optical sensing, power and analytics into complete subsea solutions. Kraken manufactures equipment and supports customer programmes through engineering, deployment and lifecycle services.
