About LEMKEN
LEMKEN traces its family-owned agricultural-machinery business to 1780 in Alpen, Germany. The company designs and manufactures ploughs, cultivators, seed drills and crop-care equipment and supports them through an international subsidiary and dealer network. Its core business is implements and farm machinery, not a standalone robotics platform.
Autonomy enters through Combined Powers, a joint development programme with harvesting-equipment manufacturer KRONE. The partners have tested an autonomous diesel-electric drive unit with smart implements for cultivation, ploughing, seeding, mowing and forage handling. By linking the power unit and implement through a common control architecture, the programme lets the attached tool contribute operating information and task logic. Korthos therefore records farm autonomy as a secondary detail within LEMKEN’s broader equipment business.

- 2025-09-22 - Demonstration - LEMKEN and KRONE announce VTE 3.0 autonomous field unit
VTE 3.0 pairs an autonomous carrier with intelligent implements for arable field work. LEMKEN planned to show autonomous stubble cultivation using a Karat 10/400 Smart Implement. Integrated laser scanners provide environmental perception, while iQblue systems monitor the implement, material flow and wheel slip.

Stereolabs documented ZED cameras and its perception platform across CNH Industrial New Holland and Case IH electric tractors. The integrations also covered cabinless autonomous tractor units from LEMKEN and KRONE. ZED stereo depth and perception were used as inputs for navigation and autonomous agricultural operation.
