About Mecademic Industrial Robotics

Mecademic’s Meca500 is a six-axis arm with its controller embedded in the base, a 330-millimetre reach, 500-gram rated payload and five-micrometre position repeatability. The MCS500 applies the same compact integration approach to a four-axis SCARA architecture with a 225-millimetre reach.

Both robots behave as automation components controlled directly from a PLC or computer rather than as standalone cells requiring a proprietary programming workstation. Ethernet commands and programming interfaces support rapid integration with cameras, instruments and process equipment. Mecademic also supplies calibrated variants, end effectors, application engineering, training and repair for precision laboratory and production installations.
