Parallel Domain turns recorded journeys into environments that can be reused for autonomy testing. PD Replica reconstructs static surroundings and moving objects from driving or flight logs, producing geometry, annotations and maps for simulation. Teams can alter those reconstructed scenes, insert actors and create variations around an encounter that occurred in the real world.
PD Sim generates synchronised camera, lidar and radar outputs within those environments. Its configurable sensor models include camera optics and rolling shutter, weather effects on lidar and material-dependent radar reflectivity. Python interfaces let developers script repeatable scenarios, connect an autonomy stack for closed-loop tests and run regression checks when models change. This links real-world collection to controlled evaluation of perception and driving or navigation behaviour.
