About Pictorus

Pictorus lets embedded engineers construct control and signal-processing behaviour through browser-based block diagrams. Models can be simulated and tested before deployment, then converted into production code that interoperates with existing C, C++ and Python software.

Renesas completed its acquisition of Pictorus in June 2026 and is integrating the platform into Renesas 365. The combination connects behavioural modelling, simulation, generated software and target hardware within one electronics-development workflow, reducing the gap between control-system design and embedded implementation.
