SkyMul develops construction robots for rebar tying and layout work. Its SkyTy system uses aerial robots and autonomy software to scan reinforcement, classify intersections and automate repetitive preparation for concrete pours.
The offering combines site mapping, task planning and robotic execution around a specific construction workflow. Productivity and compatibility depend on rebar geometry, site conditions and the configured system. SkyTy maps construction sites and marks floor layouts from digital plans using an autonomous drone.

SkyTy targets faster, lower-labor rebar tying for concrete construction sites. The company used Curiosity Lab space to develop the drone system after receiving NSF Phase I grant support. The demonstration validates SkyMul tests SkyTy rebar-tying drone at Curiosity Lab's technology in unmanned aircraft, air mobility or counter-drone operations.
