About Advanced Construction Robotics
IronBOT lifts and places bundles of reinforcing steel across a bridge deck, reducing repeated manual handling of heavy bar. TyBOT then travels over the installed grid, detects intersections and ties them without requiring a preloaded building-information model or manual marking of every location.
The machines are supplied through a robotics-as-a-service model that includes transport, setup, supervision and support for each project. Advanced Construction Robotics reports TyBOT output above 1,200 ties per hour and IronBOT placement above 5,000 pounds per hour, with throughput varying by site conditions.

TyBOT had previously been offered through Robot-as-a-Service; the direct-sale configuration was priced from $425,500 to $455,500 depending on working width. The purchase package included operator training, future software updates and a service-platform portal for usage and productivity data. Optional travel modes and a carry-function add-on broadened TyBOT beyond bridge decks to other jobsites and material-moving tasks.

TyBOT completed 58,215 rebar ties across 25,154 square feet on the I-40 Gorge Bridge over Jonathan Creek. The project with DT Read Steel was Advanced Construction Robotics' first completed TyBOT deployment in North Carolina. At the announcement date, the company reported more than 4.2 million TyBOT ties across over 60 projects in 14 states.
