About StrateSea Technology
StrateSea’s FeatureLab imports side-scan, multibeam and synthetic-aperture sonar, bathymetry, point clouds and related remote-sensing data into one machine-learning workflow. Users can annotate objects or seabed features, train and compare models and apply them to larger survey datasets without constructing a separate computer-vision toolchain.
Models can be deployed offline, in the cloud or at the edge on autonomous and remotely operated platforms. This allows survey organisations to identify objects, classify seabed conditions and prioritise areas while a mission is still under way rather than reviewing every frame after recovery. StrateSea supplies the software and model-development support to hydrographic, infrastructure, defence and subsea-robotics teams and was selected for NATO DIANA’s 2026 programme.
