About Sunday Robotics

Memo uses two arms, compact hands and a low wheeled base to perform selected household manipulation tasks. Sunday trains the platform using demonstrations collected by Memory Developers wearing its Skill Capture Glove, keeping routine data collection outside beta users' homes and using onboard autonomy for execution.

In March 2026 Sunday announced a $165 million Series B led by Coatue at a stated $1.15 billion valuation. The company says thousands of gloves have shipped and plans a public beta rollout in autumn 2026, with purchase availability only after beta feedback is incorporated into scaled production. Demonstrated chores and beta plans support late-stage development, not unrestricted home autonomy or current retail availability.

  • ACT-1: A Robot Foundation Model Trained on Zero Robot Data

2025-11-19 - Research Publication - Sunday presents ACT-1 as a robot foundation model trained without teleoperation trajectories, using human-aligned Skill Capture Glove data and Skill Transform to scale manipulation learning. The release highlights ultra long-horizon mobile manipulation (e.g., table-to-dishwasher) and zero-shot generalization in unseen homes with map-conditioned navigation. The post is dated November 19, 2025 on the company journal and serves as the primary research narrative for the ACT-1 / Memo stack.
