About Technosoft Motion

Technosoft Motion puts a programmable motion controller inside its intelligent drives, allowing an axis to execute a stored sequence and report progress to a higher-level controller. The master can call a motion function while the drive handles the individual steps, distributing the work across the machine’s axes.

EasyMotion Studio II provides the commissioning and programming environment for this approach. Its setup tools include automatic tuning and access to detailed configuration, while graphical motion dialogs generate Technosoft Motion Language instructions. The same software therefore connects initial drive setup with the creation of application sequences. Technosoft supplies this programming layer alongside its drive hardware and custom motion systems for equipment makers.

    The family includes 4 Arms and 5 Arms variants operating at 48 volts, with brushless, step, linear, voice-coil and brushed-motor control up to 240 watts. The drives combine a dedicated motion-control CPU with EtherCAT, CAN, USB and RS-232 communications. The Micro4804 SY system packages three or four axes and supports dual-loop feedback for backlash compensation.

  • 2023-01-27 - Product Launch - Technosoft launches iPOS-Z EtherCAT drive family

    The family supports 10 Arms and 15 Arms nominal current at 48 or 80 volts, with plug-in versions controlling motors up to 750 watts and a closed-frame unit reaching 1.2 kilowatts. EtherCAT and position-loop bandwidths reach 10 kilohertz, while peak current reaches 40 amperes. The drives support CAN, USB and RS-232, absolute encoders, dual-loop backlash compensation and Safe Torque Off rated to SIL 3, Category 3 and Performance Level e.
