AAEON’s BOXER edge-AI systems package NVIDIA Jetson modules or discrete GPU compute with industrial power, networking and peripheral interfaces. Rugged fanless enclosures allow the systems to sit inside mobile robots, inspection equipment and vehicles without requiring a separate climate-controlled computer cabinet.
The company also supplies embedded boards, expansion modules and application-specific configurations, enabling machine builders to select compute around camera count, AI workload and environmental constraints. AAEON occupies the deployable computing layer: customers integrate its systems with sensors, actuators and autonomy software to create the finished machine.

- 2026-05-28 - Partnership - MICROIP launches AI Vehicle System Business Group with edge-AI partners
MICROIP introduced its AIVO and XEdgAI platforms for AI vehicles, autonomous drones and industrial robots. The company said it is working with AAEON on vertically integrated edge-AI systems covering hardware, software and deployment. A strategic partnership with BrainChip applies low-power neuromorphic AI to tasks including tactical-edge radar classification.

The UP Xtreme ARL Edge was AAEON's first Mini PC using Intel's Core Ultra 200H Series platform. AAEON designed it for industrial robots and AMRs requiring local AI processing and control. The fanless system supports operation from -20°C to 60°C, 9V-to-36V power input and resistance to shock and vibration.

The system uses Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 processors with an integrated NPU for AI workloads. Three LAN ports, six USB ports, serial communications and digital I/O connect cameras, lidar, IMUs and actuators. AAEON positioned the rugged computer for AGVs, AMRs and other advanced industrial-robotics applications.

Taiwan's Bureau of Foreign Trade and an expert judging panel selected the UP Xtreme 7100 Edge for the award. The system was designed for autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles and industrial automation control. AAEON highlighted prevalidated CANopen, EtherCAT and OPC UA support intended to shorten deployment cycles.

The platform uses Intel Core i3-N305 or Processor N97 CPUs for sensor processing, path planning and robot-control workloads. The fanless BOXER-8646AI combines a Jetson AGX Orin module with 12 PoE LAN ports and one 10GbE port. Its interfaces support multiple cameras, sensors, CANbus FD, serial communications and digital I/O at the edge. AAEON targeted smart-safety, parking and traffic-management systems requiring dense vision inputs.

The portfolio included BOXER-8641AI, BOXER-8640AI, BOXER-8646AI, BOXER-8652AI, BOXER-8651AI and an Orin Nano configuration of BOXER-8621AI. AAEON said the systems support edge AI, robotics, autonomous machinery and Industry 4.0 development across the Jetson Orin family. The BOXER-8641AI and BOXER-8640AI were already in mass production, while additional models were scheduled to follow.
