About
About Macnica
Macnica’s engineering work connects the components it distributes with application development for intelligent machines. One robotics demonstration combines visual mapping, camera and inertial localisation, object recognition and ROS 2 control on SiMa.ai’s MLSoC Modalix. The processing runs on the robot, showing how perception and control workloads can be arranged on an embedded platform.
That example illustrates its broader role in evaluating technologies and helping manufacturers combine them into working systems. The company brings component selection together with software and integration support, addressing the interfaces between sensors, compute and application logic. Its robotics work sits alongside other semiconductor and systems activities, serving equipment makers developing their own machines and operational products.
