About Xsens Technologies
Xsens motion-capture systems use networks of wearable inertial sensors and biomechanical models to reconstruct full-body movement without a fixed optical studio. Xsens Link records at up to 240 Hz, while Awinda provides a wireless strap-based configuration for faster setup. Dedicated humanoid software maps captured human movement into robot-compatible data for teleoperation, simulation, imitation learning and motion-policy development.
The company also supplies MTi, Sirius and Avior sensor modules for machines. These products combine accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers and, in selected configurations, GNSS to estimate orientation, position and motion for drones, AMRs, marine systems and stabilised platforms. From March 2026 the operating identity returned from Movella to Xsens Technologies, aligning the company name with the Xsens products through which most customers already accessed its motion technology.
