ArtiXon Hand

About

About ArtiXon Hand

ArtiXon Hand is X Square Robot's five-finger dexterous hand for manipulation and embodied-AI development. Its tendon-and-reducer transmission provides 20 total degrees of freedom through 15 actuators, with 100-hertz closed-loop control and ROS 1 and ROS 2 integration.

The hand weighs under one kilogram, carries a published three-to-five-kilogram payload and opens or closes in under one second. Fingertip sensors measure normal and shear forces, with a stated 0.1-newton minimum force resolution.
