DexHand021 S

About

About DexHand021 S

DexHand021 S is DexRobot's three-finger dexterous hand for research, assembly and robot integration. The 600-gram hand has eight degrees of freedom, ±0.5-millimetre repeatability, a 2.5-kilogram rated load and five-kilogram maximum load.

Position sensing and a five-megapixel palm camera are standard, while multi-axis force and proximity sensing are optional. CAN FD and RS485 interfaces, an open SDK and a published 200,000-cycle life support integration with mainstream robot arms.

Research

  • DexRobot Python SDK for DexHand robotic hand control and developer tooling

Research Publication - DexRobot's official Python SDK provides low-level USB-CAN hand control, ROS examples, visualization and forward and inverse kinematics for left- and right-hand variants. The same stack includes Isaac Sim and MuJoCo environments, URDF and mesh assets, manipulation-task scenes and reinforcement-learning infrastructure. DexRobot's official DexHand021 S and mass-production product pages both describe open-source SDK or ecosystem support, connecting the family tooling to the two tracked products.
