About ExynPak

ExynPak combines a lidar sensor, inertial measurement unit and onboard SLAM processing in a portable mapping unit. An operator carries the system through tunnels, buildings and industrial spaces while it estimates its own movement and constructs a three-dimensional point cloud without satellite positioning or installed reference infrastructure.

The unit can be used by hand or mounted to compatible equipment for rapid capture of mines, construction sites and other complex spaces. Exyn’s software processes, visualises and exports the resulting survey data for measurement and planning. ExynPak formed the portable layer of the company’s autonomous mapping portfolio and has since been succeeded by the modular Exyn Nexys platform.
