About Galbot S1

S1 combines two articulated arms with a lifting column and an omnidirectional wheeled base. The arrangement lets it approach goods at floor level, raise them to shelving and move between workstations. Galbot markets the system for picking, transfer, loading and unloading in factories, warehouses and logistics facilities.

Stereo and depth cameras, multiple 3D lidars and NVIDIA AGX Orin computing support perception and movement. Two batteries can be hot-swapped to extend work beyond a single charge. Galbot advertises a maximum combined arm load of 50 kilograms and eight hours of battery operation; achievable handling performance depends on the task and configuration.
