Laborer M1
About
About Laborer M1
Laborer M1 is Glroad Robotics' full-size humanoid for heavy material handling in industrial settings. Its design centres on coordinated use of both arms and stable movement while carrying loads. The platform combines integrated high-torque joints with load-aware posture control, thermal management and hardware safety functions.
M1 stands 1.87 metres tall, weighs 86 kilograms and has 27 degrees of freedom. Glroad rates its combined arm load at 50 kilograms, with a maximum joint peak torque of 430 newton-metres. A 22-amp-hour battery supports a manufacturer-rated two-hour runtime. The system includes fault diagnosis and emergency braking, while open development interfaces allow application-specific integration. It is the heavy-load member of the Laborer family, alongside the smaller C1 guidance and interaction robot.
