About

About HL Human

HL Human is Highlanders' humanoid prototype for manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure inspection and disaster-response applications. Introduced in Japan in June 2025, the 19-degree-of-freedom body has two four-axis arms. Its design combines stereo vision and lidar with collision detection, automatic braking and speed adjustment around people.

Highlanders described a natural-language interface for directing handling and assembly tasks, with a modular 48-volt system for additional cameras, lighting and end effectors. A five-finger hand and developer SDKs and APIs formed part of the announced development plan. The company scheduled partner beta and early-access programmes for 2025 and targeted a production model in 2026.
