About Flexible Pipe Sorting and Palletizing System

JR Automation's Flexible Pipe Sorting and Palletizing System groups extruded plastic pipe into mixed bundles for Advanced Drainage Systems. Conveyors and a hopper present different pipe types to a stacking machine, which forms packs of two, three, five or seven pieces. An automatic strapper secures each bundle at multiple points along its length.

A flipper can rotate a strapped pack to the required orientation before a FANUC robot places it on a pallet or in a crate. The sequence accommodates different diameters and pack combinations without stopping for manual adjustment. It connects continuous extrusion output to bundled transport loads while automating the repeated handling of long, flexible pipe.
