Yarn Packing System

About

About Yarn Packing System

JR Automation's Yarn Packing System coordinates AGVs, articulated robots, conveyors and gantry palletisers across a yarn-production floor. A dispatch procedure sends vehicles to winding machines according to the production schedule and exceptional events such as yarn breaks or quality-control requests. Robots unload the vehicles onto conveyor pallets for inspection and laboratory testing.

PLC-based records associate each physical package with its formulation and filament data as it moves through the system. Gantry robots then group matching yarn onto finished pallets. This tracking is central to the workflow because different yarn varieties look alike: identity must survive every transfer from spindle to vehicle, conveyor and final packaging.
