VB1

VB1 is Lanxin Robotics' wheeled humanoid platform for mobile manipulation and interaction. Its articulated arms and lifting upper body work above a four-wheel omnidirectional base, allowing the robot to change position around work areas. Panoramic RGB-D vision and 3D laser SLAM support perception and navigation.

The robot stands 1.65 metres tall and covers a working-height range from 0.4 to two metres. Lanxin specifies six arm joints, a two-kilogram gripping load and two to three hours of battery life. A multimodal interaction system connects the robot with people around it. VB1 is distinct from VB1-I, which uses a differential-drive chassis and has different speed, clearance and working-height specifications.
