About Gento Luna

Gento Luna is Gento Robotics' folding wheeled robot for service, inspection, education and robotics development. Its omnidirectional chassis carries a torso, head and two force-controlled arms. The upper body folds for transport and storage, then extends for manipulation at different heights, from a minimum height of 790 mm to 1,700 mm when extended.

Luna combines joint force sensing and compliant control with LiDAR and ultrasonic sensing for navigation. Onboard Jetson compute runs the software, while ROS 2 support, an SDK and development interfaces allow users to build their own workflows. Each seven-joint arm has a rated payload of 6 kg. The removable battery supports manual charging, automatic charging and quick replacement, with the manufacturer quoting four to eight hours of operation depending on use.
