Nyokkey

About

About Nyokkey

Nyokkey is Kawasaki Robotics’ semi-humanoid service platform for work in spaces shared with people. Its mobile base and dual arms combine navigation with object handling. Kawasaki has developed the platform for guidance, customer interaction and transport, with autonomous and remote-control modes demonstrated in its reference configurations.

At Kawasaki Robostage in Odaiba, a merchandising installation introduced in April 2026 lets visitors order goods on a tablet. Nyokkey retrieves the selected items and brings them to checkout staff. A fixed overhead 3D camera supplies shelf-relative location data, and the robot corrects its position during movement and pickup. This Kawasaki-operated demonstration runs alongside a separate Nyokkey visitor-communication role using generative AI.
