About Otter USV
Otter is a two-metre electric catamaran carrying up to 30 kilograms of survey and monitoring equipment. Four interchangeable battery packs power twin thrusters for up to 20 hours at survey speed, while cameras and AIS support operation in rivers, lakes, harbours and sheltered coastal waters.
The modular vessel separates into components weighing below 20 kilograms for transport and single-operator assembly. Maritime Robotics’ Vehicle Control Station provides waypoint planning, remote control and live sensor visualisation. Multibeam sonar, environmental sensors and communications equipment integrate through the plug-and-play payload architecture.
