PX-6AX GEN2 is PaXini Tech's 456-channel multidimensional tactile sensor family for robotic fingertips, finger pads and grippers. It supports force and torque sensing, surface-stress mapping, high-frequency sampling, IP68 protection and SDK integration.
About
PaXini PX-6AX GEN2 is a multidimensional tactile sensor family for robotic fingertips, finger pads and grippers. Each module provides 456 tactile signal channels with one-millimetre spatial resolution, measuring normal force across a default 0-to-25-newton range and tangential force across a default plus-or-minus-ten-newton range.
Sampling is adjustable from 20 to 1,000 hertz, with 200 hertz as the standard setting. The IP68-rated package supports force, torque and surface-stress mapping, and the SDK can coordinate up to 40 modules. Adjustable measurement ranges and mechanical form factors let robot designers distribute contact sensing across hands and grippers without treating the sensor itself as a complete manipulation system.
