About

About Adam

Adam is PNDbotics' modular humanoid family for locomotion, manipulation and embodied-AI development. The lineup includes Lite, Standard, SP and Pro configurations, with different arm, hand and head arrangements. PNDbotics combines its own actuators and control hardware with a shared bipedal structure, allowing developers to select a configuration for the movement and interaction they want to study.

The software environment provides whole-body and model-predictive control, low-level joint access, ROS 2 and DDS communication, and reinforcement-learning tools. Simulation models and examples support training, simulation testing and transfer to a physical robot. The Standard, SP and Pro configurations add perception and AI computing beyond the Lite configuration. Developers can also use teleoperation and arm-control interfaces for collecting demonstrations and building manipulation applications.
