About rc_visard 160

rc_visard 160 uses two calibrated cameras separated by a 160-millimetre stereo baseline to produce depth images and three-dimensional point clouds at working distances beyond approximately 500 millimetres. An onboard NVIDIA Tegra processor performs stereo matching, camera calibration and visual-inertial state estimation without requiring a separate vision computer.

The sensor exposes data and configuration through REST, GenICam and ROS interfaces. Optional rc_reason modules add CAD-based object recognition, load-carrier detection, box picking, item picking, surface matching and SLAM. Integrators can therefore deploy the unit as a general calibrated depth sensor or as a self-contained perception system for robot guidance and manipulation.
