About Sharpa W02
W02 is a 21-active-degree-of-freedom hand measuring 188 by 87.5 by 40 millimetres and weighing under 750 grams. Its human-scale form can close to a zero-millimetre minimum grasp diameter, while the mechanism runs at up to three hertz. The bare hand carries an IP54 rating; Sharpa states IP67 when its official glove is fitted.
Visual-tactile sensors at the fingertips resolve force changes down to five millinewtons with one-millimetre spatial resolution. Electronic skin across the fingers and palm extends contact sensing over the full hand, with a stated 0.1-to-20-newton range. W02 is available through Sharpa sales inquiry for integration into manipulation and embodied-AI systems.

2026-09-28 - Product Launch - D01 combines body electronic skin with arm-end speed above 10.5 m/s and 0.2 mm repeat positioning accuracy. W02 integrates 21 active degrees of freedom, visual fingertip tactile sensing and electronic skin across the rest of the hand. AE01 uses 22 encoders to capture hand motion and provides 256 levels of continuous haptic feedback per fingertip.
