About TR02

TR02 is Tangent Robotics' three-finger tactile hand for dexterous-manipulation development. It provides ten independently actuated degrees of freedom: four in the thumb and three in each of the other fingers.

The hand integrates a Popcorn tactile sensor in every fingertip and an offset palm camera. Its third finger and palm support stable grasps, in-hand reorientation and transitions from fingertip to power grasps. Tangent introduced TR02 in June 2026 as a development platform for upcoming autonomous manipulation policies.
