PXDex III

About

About PXDex III

PXDex III is a three-finger robotic hand built as the execution side of PaXini’s matched data-collection and manipulation system. Its kinematics correspond with the PXCap III wearable interface, allowing human demonstrations to be transferred into robot commands with limited geometric remapping. Joint-angle sensors report finger position during execution.

Tactile sensing and two palm cameras provide contact and visual information for grasp monitoring and policy learning. Industrial communications connect the hand to robot arms and host controllers. PaXini supplies the pair for imitation learning, teleoperation and collection of manipulation data intended for direct replay on physical hardware.
