GEP5000

GEP5000 is Zimmer Group’s electrically driven two-jaw parallel-gripper family for industrial handling. The available sizes provide six to ten millimetres of stroke per jaw and nominal gripping force from 980 to 1,520 newtons, approaching the force of comparable pneumatic grippers without a compressed-air supply.

A brushless motor drives the mechanism, while IO-Link and digital I/O variants support machine integration. The family is rated IP64 and designed for as many as 30 million maintenance-free cycles. Individual GEP5000 sizes differ in stroke, force, finger length and mass, with the profile covering the complete series and its part-number variants.
