About
About Humanoid
Humanoid's KinetIQ divides robot behaviour into four layers: fleet coordination, single-robot task planning, learned manipulation and whole-body control. High-level goals are translated into target poses, while the lower control layers manage joint motion and balance. Wheeled and bipedal robots share upper-body control, with locomotion handled according to the platform.
This structure lets an industrial task combine navigation, reaching and coordinated handling without making the fleet planner responsible for each motor command. The development workflow trains and refines specific capabilities against task requirements, including retry or escalation when progress stalls. Commercial expansion includes a phased Schaeffler deployment agreement, with initial German installations planned for late 2026 and Schaeffler also selected as a preferred actuator supplier.
