Teledyne FLIR
About
About Teledyne FLIR
Teledyne FLIR develops thermal and visible cameras, imaging cores, sensing systems and unmanned platforms for industrial inspection, public safety, defence and research. Its Boson, Hadron and Lepton modules are integrated into drones, robots and fixed systems, while complete products support firefighting, security, search, condition monitoring and machine vision.
The unmanned-systems portfolio includes Black Hornet personal reconnaissance aircraft and FirstLook ground robots, alongside payloads and perception components sold to other platform manufacturers. This makes Teledyne FLIR both a component supplier and a builder of complete robotic systems. Capability and market maturity differ sharply between high-volume imaging cores, specialist defence platforms and application-specific sensor packages.
