Concerto Biosciences uses automated experimentation and machine learning to discover beneficial microbial communities. Its platform grows microbes in many combinations, measures how they interact and converts the resulting physical data into models that predict communities for therapeutic and consumer-health applications.
Robotic liquid handling and high-throughput assays let the company test interaction spaces that would be impractical manually. The resulting maps support selection and validation of multi-strain products rather than treating each organism in isolation. Concerto operates the laboratory automation as an internal discovery engine and advances selected candidates with development partners.
