About Ketterer Drives
Ketterer Drives manufactures BLDC motors, gearboxes, threaded spindles, motor drives and lifting systems for automation, logistics and mobile equipment. Its industrial range includes AGV and AMR solutions and the Ket-Rob modular drive platform, alongside custom drive assemblies built around the customer's mechanical envelope.
The company combines motor, gear, spindle and control technologies into rotary or linear actuation packages. These components translate electrical power into precise lifting, wheel or joint movement for robots, conveyors, ergonomic equipment and automated production machinery, with manufacturing and assembly based in Germany.

The portfolio includes explosion-protected bevel gearboxes and crown-wheel designs for industrial machinery. Compact Ket-Bee angle gearboxes extend the standard range across eight available frame sizes. Additional designs address small servo motors, higher torque transmission and precision-motion requirements.

The aluminum platform combines two BLDC hub-drive wheels with four freely rotating load-bearing wheels. Customer configurations can carry up to 100 kilograms and travel at speeds reaching seven kilometers per hour. Gearless direct drives reduce wear while allowing variable dimensions, lifting units and control-system integration.

Ketterer designed the motor while halstrup-walcher supplied electronics, controls and software expertise. The 82-millimeter actuator delivers a 40-millimeter stroke in under 100 milliseconds and up to 300 newtons. Its integrated controls position KuLi as an electric alternative to pneumatic cylinders in automation equipment.
