Cainiao starts climbing-robot operations at Hong Kong eHub
Cainiao put Hong Kong's first climbing-robot warehouse into operation at its eHub, using 56 self-developed robots for tote storage, retrieval and movement.

Cainiao operates global e-commerce logistics and smart logistics infrastructure for merchants. It runs more than 1,100 warehouses and develops smart hardware, AI and automation inside its logistics network; in June 2026 it announced a Netherlands fulfilment centre with more than 100 self-developed climbing robots.
