VersaTile Automation develops a modular goods-to-person system in which powered floor tiles move totes, cages and pallets through a warehouse. Each storage position acts as an active cell, allowing many items to move concurrently for picking, sequencing or sortation. Software treats inventory and movement as one data layer, continually selecting routes and presentation order in response to demand.

The grid can be installed in two- or three-dimensional configurations as a standalone fulfilment system or alongside existing automation. A simple API connects it with warehouse software, and the modular structure allows capacity to be added without major groundworks. Applications include dense e-commerce picking, grocery preparation and cross-docking. VersaTile targets up to three times the throughput of a manual operation and about 50% reductions in space and picking labour, depending on the installation.
