About Xsens Technologies

Xsens combines inertial measurement hardware with sensor-fusion algorithms for two distinct motion problems: tracking machines and capturing human movement. MTi and Sirius modules provide orientation, heading and navigation data for robots, autonomous systems and stabilised equipment, while wearable motion-capture systems record full-body movement for animation, biomechanics and robot-learning workflows.

Xsens was incorporated in the Netherlands in April 2000 and now operates as a brand of Movella Inc., which does business as Xsens Technologies. That legal continuity is different from being “formerly Movella.” The current organisation maintains locations in Enschede, Los Angeles, Halifax and Shanghai and sells both industrial sensing and human-motion systems.
