About Alto Robotics
Alto Robotics develops MUVYN, a collaborative autonomous mobile robot for on-demand material movement and data collection. An operator can map a facility, label destinations and launch single-stop or multi-stop missions from the robot's interface without writing code. At each destination, MUVYN can deliver or collect materials and record process information for later operational analysis.
Three-dimensional LiDAR builds the map and detects obstacles, while onboard AI updates wheel motion as people and layouts change. Alto's patented steering and driven-wheel arrangement is designed for manoeuvrability in tight spaces; large wheels and a low centre of gravity support stability on uneven surfaces and some outdoor routes. The platform can operate autonomously or under manual control and accepts configurations matched to different workflows. Its plug-and-play model avoids tracks, markers and structural changes, making it suitable for factories that need to alter routes or introduce automation incrementally.
