KELO Robotics develops collaborative logistics robots, mobile manipulators and modular ROBILE platforms. Its gearbox-free KELO drives combine wheel, motor, steering and control functions to provide omnidirectional movement in compact mobile bases.

ROOBILE modules can be assembled into different footprints and payload platforms, then equipped with sensing, manipulation or transport hardware. Systems can move autonomously or offer compliant manual guidance around workers. KELO supplies drives, bases and complete logistics configurations for material handling and research, along with software interfaces that let integrators build application-specific robots.

  • 2025-06-05 - Demonstration - KELO demonstrates modular lab mobile manipulator

    KELO presented the modular mobile manipulator at Future Labs Live in Basel in May 2025. The configuration combined an omnidirectional ROBILE base with a collaborative robot arm. KELO positioned the system as a configurable platform for laboratories and integrators that need adaptable mobile manipulation.

  • 2025-06-05 - Product Launch - KELO debuts KD165s drive and PM1500 pallet mover

    KELO reported that the KD165s drive and PM1500 collaborative pallet mover debuted at LogiMAT in March 2025. A single KD165s supports a 500-kilogram payload while remaining omnidirectional and back-drivable. KELO began the functional-safety certification process and planned a non-safety-rated KD165 commercial version before the end of 2025.

  • 2025-06-05 - Deployment - KU Leuven expands KELO robotic-wall fleet

    KELO reported in June 2025 that KU Leuven had added another ROBILE-based robotic wall during May. Research[x]Design then had three mobile walls in operation for a self-organizing office-space programme. The modular bases let the research team reposition walls on command and expand the installation incrementally as budget allowed.
