  Sherpa launched SHERPA-F in France on July 18, 2023. The omnidirectional AMR lifts pallets and floor-level containers weighing up to 1,200 kilograms. Melkus Mechatronic manufactures the platform and Sherpa distributes it exclusively in France as part of its broader AMR range.

• 2023-03-17 - Product Launch - Sherpa launches SHERPA-D dolly-handling AMR

  The 2023 launch configuration measured 1,050 × 400 × 850 mm and weighed 137 kg. The vehicle carried standard 600 × 400 mm dollies with up to 250 kg of load, supporting kitting and line feeding. Three SHERPA-D robots were already operating at ZF’s Bouzonville site when the launch was reported.

  CAPZA Transition invested more than EUR 10 million in equity and convertible bonds within a EUR 12 million Norcan transaction. Bpifrance and Capital Grand Est remained shareholders alongside management and the new investor. Norcan said the capital would accelerate SHERPA robot development and broader international growth; the transaction was at the parent level, not a direct Sherpa funding round.

  SICK documented six SHERPA AMRs operating at FPT Industrial in Bourbon-Lancy. The fleet moves prepared parts from kitting areas to the engine assembly line among people, forklifts and AGVs. Sherpa reported that the installation developed its fleet-management capability in an existing industrial environment.

  SICK published the Sherpa safety integration on June 17, 2021. SHERPA robots use S300 and nanoScan3 safety laser scanners, DFS60S safety encoders and Flexi Soft Motion Drive control. The modular certified stack supports obstacle detection and faster safety validation across multiple AMR models.

• 2020-08-05 - Partnership - Sherpa adopts Wiferion charging for SHERPA-B and SHERPA-P

  SHERPA-B was already equipped with Wiferion's inductive charging system for container-transport workflows. Sherpa said SHERPA-P, its pallet-transport robot, would also receive the etaLINK system as the rollout expanded. The 3 kW system supported automatic in-process charging, CAN data exchange and reported energy-transfer efficiency of 93 percent.
