DENSO WAVE develops, manufactures and sells compact industrial robots used for assembly, handling, inspection, packaging and machine tending. Its portfolio includes four-axis SCARA robots, five- and six-axis articulated arms, collaborative robots, pharmaceutical and medical configurations, controllers, software and integration functions.

The company was established in 2001 and is headquartered in Agui, Aichi, Japan. DENSO Corporation owns 75%, with Toyota Tsusho and TOPPAN Infomedia holding the remaining shares. DENSO WAVE operates robotics alongside its automatic-identification, control-equipment and systems businesses as a distinct operating company within the DENSO group.
