About DexRobot
DexRobot develops sensor-rich hands for embodied-AI research, humanoids and industrial manipulation. The production DexHand021 is a tendon-driven, five-finger hand with 19 degrees of freedom, 23 position, force, proximity and temperature sensors, CAN FD communication and active cooling for continuous operation. Its one-kilogram mechanism supports a five-kilogram load and more than 15 human-like grasp patterns.
The lower-cost DexHand021 S uses three fingers, eight degrees of freedom and a palm-mounted five-megapixel camera, with optional multidirectional tactile and proximity sensing. It targets grasping, compliant assembly, agricultural picking and rapid robot integration. DexRobot provides Python, C++, ROS and open SDK support, plus DexTac simulation models and DexCanvas datasets, so developers can train, migrate and evaluate manipulation policies across simulation and physical hardware.
