About IMPLANET
The JAZZ platform uses braided sublaminar bands as a complement to screws and rods in complex spinal fixation. Surgeons pass the bands around vertebral structures and connect them to the correction construct, creating additional fixation points for deformity correction and stabilisation.
IMPLANET supplies the implant and instrument layer rather than a complete surgical robot. Its robotics exposure comes through work to integrate its spinal products with image-guided and robot-assisted procedures, including European evaluation activity involving 8i Robotics technology. That work remains developmental and should not be presented as a commercially established robotic-surgery platform.
