About INACAP
Instituto Profesional INACAP provides technical and professional education across Chile. The institution operates 30 campuses in all 16 regions alongside a digital campus, with programmes linked to the skills needs of industry and services. Its institutional roots extend to vocational training activity established in 1966; the former CFT INACAP merged into the professional institute on 1 January 2026.
INACAP deployed 21 Robotiq Hand-E grippers across four academic departments for practical robotics instruction. The equipment supports hundreds of students in mechatronics, electronics, mechanical engineering and innovation programmes, including pick-and-place and bin-picking exercises. The reported installation was completed in half a day.

The equipment-access plan covers the Puente Alto and La Serena campuses. The robot had been used to test social housing through Construye Zero at the CTEC construction innovation park. The agreement also supports student placements and technological transfer in mining, water and public and private infrastructure projects.
