About Svaya Robotics
Svaya Robotics develops collaborative and general-purpose robots for flexible manufacturing. Its portfolio includes collaborative arms and fixed-base bimanual humanoid systems supported by in-house controls, digital twins and AI software.
The company focuses on software-defined automation that can be adapted as production needs change and integrated into existing factory environments. Individual task readiness depends on the robot configuration, end effector and site integration.

- 2025-08-18 - Production Milestone - Svaya ships Bimanual Gen 1.5 to automotive customer
Svaya announced the Bimanual Gen 1.5 shipment on August 18, 2025. The unit was sent to an automotive customer for deployment in a production environment. Svaya framed the shipment as part of its move from fixed automation toward perceptive robots that generate operational data for physical AI.
Source - 2025-05-21 - Demonstration - Two Svaya bimanual humanoids coordinate handling and assembly
Two Bimanual Humanoid Robots worked in unison during the official demonstration. Real-time motion control coordinated actions across both robots rather than controlling each independently. Svaya positioned the coordinated system for precision handling and assembly automation.

Svaya delivered the robot to IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on May 10, 2024. The robot joined the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Robotics and Automation Laboratory. The research programme focuses on dexterous manipulation and autonomous grasping with the industrial-grade dual-arm platform.
Source - 2024-05-07 - Product Launch - Svaya introduces all-electric dexterous dual-arm robot
Svaya introduced its all-electric dual-arm platform as an Indian-designed dexterous robot. Each arm provided seven degrees of freedom for coordinated two-handed manipulation. Coordinated vision supported hand-eye control and fine-precision tasks beyond conventional single-arm automation.
Source - 2023-03-13 - Demonstration - Svaya and DRDO demonstrate indigenous quadruped and exoskeleton
Svaya developed quadruped and wearable-exoskeleton demonstrators with two Defence Research and Development Organisation laboratories. The quadruped targeted unstructured-terrain reconnaissance and inspection where human operation would be unsafe. The exoskeleton was designed around Indian soldiers to reduce fatigue and assist heavy-load handling.
